Speedy (on the left), was an older dog that came into MCAS in January of 2022. The loving couple in the photograph visited the shelter one day to meet Speedy, because he had caught their eye. They brought with them their older rescue, Sadie, for a meet and greet to see how Speedy and her would get along, and it went well! It turned out that Speedy was a perfect fit for their family. To our heart's dismay, one of our volunteers recently learned that Speedy had peacefully crossed over the rainbow bridge. “She had a lot of love and lived quite comfortably her last couple of years. Sister Sadie continues to do well!“
Rest in peace, precious Speedy.
